The Course GuideArguably the most important document you can have is the IB Economics Course Guide. It contains all information about the course, content, exams and so on.
All teachers, textbooks and other resources start their thinking with this document open. |
What topics will I study? |
HL students study everything including some introductory econometircs (mathematics)! SL as you would expect study less. As you will see the biggest difference between HL and SL content is a section titled Theory of the Firm. In my opinion HL doesn't necessarily mean harder, but simply more economics. Some teachers however may disagree. So in quick summary, the HL course can be split into five main areas, and SL four.
